Drake Lindsey Has the Size and Touch to Watch Closely

Draft Code — Aug 15, 2026 — AzJace — 3 min

Drake Lindsey, QB, Minnesota Golden Gophers — 6'5" / 230 — RS Sophomore with 13 college starts.

Excellent size for the position: 6'5" 230.
Has the arm talent and can throw with beautiful touch.
Low interception total as a first-year starter.
Crazy aggressive at times — however will need to clean up the turnover-worthy plays, having more than just his big-time throws.
Multiple under-center/play-action drop backs compared to most young QBs, who are primarily in the shotgun.
7 TD to 1 INT ratio under pressure.

Cardinal fans will be very intrigued with the 2027 QB class, and Drake Lindsey will be a name to watch this upcoming season!
