The Numbers on Both Rams Coordinators the Cardinals Requested
The Arizona Cardinals have requested to interview both Rams coordinators for their head coach opening.
Chris Shula's Rams defensive EPA per play the last two seasons with him running their defense:
| Season | EPA/Play | League Rank |
|---|---|---|
| 2024 | 0.05 | 23rd |
| 2025 | -0.07 | 7th |
Mike LaFleur offensive EPA/Pass, EPA/Play, and EPA/Rush for his time with the Jets and one game with the Rams where he called plays:
| Season | EPA/Pass Rank | EPA/Play Rank | EPA/Rush Rank |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2021 (NYJ) | 28th | 25th | 18th |
| 2022 (NYJ) | 29th | 29th | 24th |
| 2025 (LAR, Wk 14) | 2nd | 1st | 1st |
Both should be top candidates. I'm a big advocate for Mike LaFleur.
